I'm reopening this as it is now broken in testing. This combination:

ii  kwin-x11                                                    4:5.3.2-3
ii  kwin-style-breeze                                           4:5.3.2-2

Doesn't work and the user cannot login to a KDE5 session. The only workaround 
is to move kwin-style-breeze's
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/org.kde.kdecoration2/breezedecoration.so 
out of the way and then go to system settings and change the style to plastik.

FWIW, I see the exact same issue with kwin-decoration-oxygen, leaving plastik 
as the only decoration that works.
