Sorry, the option to not display thumbnails larger as was truncated here. It 
refers to remote machines. So it appears what you found here is actually 
really an upstream bug. It would still help if you take the time to report it 
there, if not already done, and post a link to the upstream bug report to this 
Debian bug report.
