        I set the KDE desktop to display ~/Desktop folder view

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

        I deleted (to trash) one of the file in that folder

   * What was the outcome of this action?

        The file still appear in folder view after deletion

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

        It should have disappeared
