Bug#793620: systemsettings: incorrectly export LANGUAGE when changing currency (plasma-locale-settings.sh)
Package: systemsettings
Version: 4:5.3.2-2
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream l10n
Dear Maintainer,
I'm trying to get a UI in english , with local regional settings(*).
When I choose to override currency to include NIS sign a shell script
had been created which override LANGUAGE to Hebrew.
I have found the next shell script that I belive to be the source of my
probelm:
..config/plasma-locale-settings.sh
# Generated script, do not edit
# Exports language-format specific env vars from startkde.
# This script has been generated from kcmshell5 formats.
# It will automatically be overwritten from there.
export LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
export LC_NUMERIC=he_IL.UTF-8
export LC_TIME=en_GB.UTF-8
export LC_MONETARY=he_IL.UTF-8
export LANGUAGE=en_US:he
I did not expect to find export LANGUAGE=en_US:he
(*) - I'm trying to get English version of he_IL.UTF-8
