Package: kde-config-touchpad Version: 4:5.1.95-1 Severity: serious User: debian-qa@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'sid' to 'experimental'. It installed fine in 'sid', then the upgrade to 'experimental' fails because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a Breaks+Replaces relation. See policy 7.6 at https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Selecting previously unselected package kde-config-touchpad. Preparing to unpack .../kde-config-touchpad_4%3a5.1.95-1_amd64.deb ... Unpacking kde-config-touchpad (4:5.1.95-1) ... dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/kde-config-touchpad_4%3a5.1.95-1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/share/icons/hicolor/128x128/devices/input-touchpad.png', which is also in package plasma-desktop-data 4:5.3.2-1 Processing triggers for systemd (222-1) ... Errors were encountered while processing: dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe) /var/cache/apt/archives/kde-config-touchpad_4%3a5.1.95-1_amd64.deb Maybe this bug needs to be reassigned to plasma-desktop-data since that has a newer version (5.3.2) than kde-config-touchpad (5.1.95). cheers, AndreasAttachment: plasma-desktop-data=4%5.3.2-1_kde-config-touchpad=4%5.1.95-1.log.gz

kcm-touchpad was only in experimental and will be removed, so this bug should just be closed.
