Package: akonadi-backend-postgresql
Version: 1.13.0-3
Severity: normal
PostgreSQL backend do not work because it can't find recent PostgreSQL 9.4
binaries (resulting segfault):
~~~~
ProcessControl: Application 'akonadiserver' returned with exit code 255
(Unknown error)
search paths: ("/usr/lib/ccache", "/home/user/bin", "/usr/lib/ccache",
"/usr/local/bin", "/usr/bin", "/bin", "/usr/local/games", "/usr/games",
"/usr/sbin", "/usr/loca
l/sbin", "/usr/lib/postgresql/8.4/bin", "/usr/lib/postgresql/9.0/bin",
"/usr/lib/postgresql/9.1/bin", "/usr/lib/postgresql/9.2/bin",
"/usr/lib/postgresql/9.3/bin")
Could not start database server!
executable: ""
arguments: ("start", "-w", "--timeout=10", "--
pgdata=/home/user/.local/share/akonadi/db_data", "-o "-k/tmp/akonadi-
user.f2WxBe" -h ''")
process error: "No such file or directory"
~~~~
Trivial patching of "server/src/storage/dbconfigpostgresql.cpp" is needed to
include 9.4 to search path although I wonder if there is a better way to find
PostgreSQL executable than to search through the list of hard-coded paths...
This bug affects Jessie as well.
