Please always reply to the bug number. I'm afraid that if you can't test without the proprietary driver I can't do anything but closing this bug. The first thing we need to do is see if this behavior does comes from that driver or not. I'm so closing this bug. Feel free to reopen if you can reproduce it without the proprietary driver.
