The issue is related to the output of netstat. It doesn't show the listening
socket even though the process is running and listening.

in falla.debian.org (freebsd porter box)
running a:
 $ nc -l 1115
And a simple:
 $ netstat -nl
Doesn't show the listening socket, but the process is listening.
