Hmm, it can be a bit confusing, yes.
What I meant is that if one of the devels behind KDE recommends to use
Webkit backend as a default for Konqueror, perhaps in Debian we should
be more proactive to make it the default. I don't know if there will
be people insisting on using the KHTML one, though.
To achieve this, probably the easiest solution would be
Require-ing|Recommend-ing kpart-webkit. The users then can still
select which backend they want from the "General" options of
Konqueror, but at least Webkit is selected as default when the package
is installed (I think).
The package konqueror currently does not even Depend|Recommend|Suggest
kpart-webkit at the moment, so I expect that most users don't even
know that Debian actually supports Webkit as renderer for Konqueror,
nor there are clear suggestions on how to achieve this (as far as I
know).
So the subject meant to say "arrange things in a way that users use
only webkit, or webkit by default, or at least as an option" without
having to fiddle with the system too much (e.g. install new packages
that are not even recommended).
