Package: kmail Version: 4:3.1.1-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch I use the filters to take away some anoying spam, but sometimes the comes in for instance base64 encoding. Now I can't filter the spam message (unless of course I know how the text would look in base64). KMail should first decode the message and then run the filters. My filter is for <<message>> contains liuyi-ltd.com and that filter should move this mail to trash: >Return-path: <Beall@yahoo.com> >Envelope-to: *** >Delivery-date: Sun, 25 May 2003 01:37:42 +0200 >Received: from [202.127.45.89] (helo=com2u1.cte.com.cn) > by *** with esmtp (Exim 3.36 #1) > id 19Jia2-0003tm-00 > for ***; Sun, 25 May 2003 01:37:38 +0200 >Received: from Schwankl ([211.158.43.244]) by com2u1.cte.com.cn with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.5329); > Sun, 25 May 2003 07:10:05 +0800 >Reply-To: "Sunil Hess"<Beall@yahoo.com> >From: "Sunil Hess"<Beall@yahoo.com> >To: *** >Subject: =?ISO-8859-3?B?b2xiZXJkLEdvb2Qgc2l0ZXMgdG8gc2VlLCB5b3UgYXNrZWQgdG8gYmUgb24gb3VyIGxpc3Q=?= >Date: Sat, 24 May 2003 23:36:52 GMT >Mime-Version: 1.0 >Content-Type: multipart/mixed; > boundary="----=_NextPart_0525030736" >X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2462.0000 >Message-ID: <COM2U1Dll7fnp3eEHJt00009fb0@com2u1.cte.com.cn> >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 24 May 2003 23:10:05.0921 (UTC) FILETIME=[9D0B0D10:01C32249] >Status: R >X-Status: N >X-KMail-EncryptionState: >X-KMail-SignatureState: > >------=_NextPart_0525030736 >Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" >Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64 > >PGh0bWw+PGhlYWQ+PHRpdGxlPjwvdGl0bGU+PG1ldGEgaHR0cC1lcXVpdj1Db250ZW50LVR5cGUg >Y29udGVudD0idGV4dC9odG1sOyBjaGFyc2V0PWdiMjMxMiI+PC9oZWFkPjxib2R5IGJnY29sb3I9 >I0ZGRkZGRiB0ZXh0PSMwMDAwMDA+PHA+U3VwcG9zZSB3ZSB0ZWxsIHlvdSB0aGF0IHlvdSBjb3Vs >ZCByZWFsbHkgbG9zZSB1cCB0byA4MiUgb2YgeW91ciB1bndhbnRlZCBib2R5IGZhdCBhbmQga2Vl >cCBpdCBvZmYgaW4ganVzdCBhIGZldyBtb250aHMsIHdvdWxkIHlvdSBiZSBpbnRlcmVzdGVkPyBX >ZSBjZXJ0YWlubHkgaG9wZSBzbyE8YnI+IEhhdmUgeW91IHRyaWVkIGp1c3QgYWJvdXQgZXZlcnkg >ZGlldCBvdXQgdGhlcmUtYnV0IG5vdGhpbmcgc2VlbXMgdG8gd29yaz8hIFRoZW4gZG9uJ3QgbWlz >cyB0aGlzIGltcG9ydGFudCBtZXNzYWdlITxicj4gV2UgaW52aXRlIHlvdSB0byBleHBlcmllbmNl >IHRoZSBtb3N0IGFkdmFuY2VkIHdlaWdodCBMb3NzIHByb2R1Y3QgYXZhaWxhYmxlIChoZ2ggb3Jh >bCBzcHJheSkgd2UgZ3VhcmFudGVlIGZvciB5b3UgdG8gbG9zZSB3ZWlnaHQgcXVpY2tseSwgc2Fm >ZWx5IGFuZCBrZWVwIGl0IG9mZiBmb3IgZ29vZCBmb3JldmVyITxicj4gQXMgc2VlbiBvbiBOQkMs >IENCUywgYW5kIENOTiwgYW5kIGV2ZW4gT3ByYWghIEhnaCBhY3R1YWxseSBoZWxwcyB0byByZXZl >cnNlIGFnaW5nIHdoaWxlIGJ1cm5pbmcgZmF0IHdpdGhvdXQgZGlldGluZyBvciBleGVyY2lzZSE8 >YnI+IFRvIGNoZWNrIG91dCBvdXIgcmVhbCBsaWZlIHRlc3RpbW9uaWFscyBhdCB3d3cubGl1eWkt >bHRkLmNvbTxicj4gV2UgbWFudWZhY3R1cmUgYW5kIHNoaXAgZGlyZWN0bHkgdG8geW91ciBkb29y >LiBXZSBndWFyYW50ZWUgdGhlIGhpZ2hlc3QgcXVhbGl0eSBhbmQgbG93ZXN0IHByaWNlLjxicj4g >VGFrZSBhZHZhbnRhZ2Ugb2Ygb3VyIExJTUlURUQgdGltZSBzcGVjaWFsIG9mZmVyIHBsZWFzZSB2 >aXNpdCBvdXIgd2ViIHNpdGUgPGEgaHJlZj1odHRwOi8vd3d3LmxpdXlpLWx0ZC5jb20vPmNsaQ0K >Y2sgaGVyZTwvYT48L3A+PHA+PGEgaHJlZj1odHRwOi8vd3d3LmxpdXlpLWx0ZC5jb20vcm0uaHRt >bD5SZW1vdmUgbWFpbDwvYT48L3A+PC9ib2R5PjwvaHRtbD4= -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux ip10.kmk.kollegie.dk 2.4.18 #1 tor apr 24 15:41:26 CEST 2003 i586 Locale: LANG=da_DK, LC_CTYPE=da_DK Versions of packages kmail depends on: ii kdebase-kio-plugins 4:3.1.2-1 KDE I/O Slaves ii kdelibs4 4:3.1.2-2 KDE core libraries ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.12-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libc6 2.3.1-17 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libfam0c102 2.6.10-1 client library to control the FAM ii libgcc1 1:3.3-2 GCC support library ii libjpeg62 6b-7 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libkdenetwork2 4:3.1.1-1 KDE Network (common libraries) ii libmimelib1 4:3.1.1-1 KDE network mime library ii libpng12-0 1.2.5.0-3 PNG library - runtime ii libqt3c102-mt 3:3.1.1-8 Qt GUI Library (Threaded runtime v ii libstdc++5 1:3.3-2 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii xlibs 4.2.1-6 X Window System client libraries ii zlib1g 1:1.1.4-11 compression library - runtime -- no debconf information

Version: 4:4.10.2-1 Hi, This issue was closed upstream in 2012, as the code base changed substantially after the switch to kmail2, I'm following upstreams lead and tagging the later versions as fixed. Please let us know if you can still reproduce the issue. Happy hacking, -- “First, solve the problem. Then, write the code.” -- John Johnson Saludos /\/\ /\ >< `/Attachment: signature.asc
