Package: qtcreator Version: 2.8.1-3 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I can't figure out what is causing qtcreator to fail parse all project files that I tested. Including new ones created from wizard when qt 5.2.0 (debian packages) or 5.2.2 (self compiled) qt is used. The error prevents one from launching applications from creator (in debugger or without debugger) and Class view doesn't show any classes. So far I haven't found any other issues caused by the parsing error. I'm using qml in my projects but even plain old qt UI projects feature same issue. I found some obscure bug reports about similar issues with qt 5.2 but only solution offered was to delete all qtcreator configs. I tried even that but that failed to help my issue. I have tried to spot cause from strace but without any hint even what issue might be I can't find anything useful from the huge amount data that strace produces. Debian qt 4.8 and self compile qt 5.1 are working fine. Also debian qt 5.1 packages worked when I last tried to use qtcreator. I prefer to use vim for coding but qtcreator has a lot better qml support (coding & debugging) that makes me use it sometimes. Version: 3.0.1+dfsg+exp-4 This should be already fixed in 3.0.1+dfsg+exp-3, but I'm marking it as such in 3.0.1+dfsg+exp-4 because I added some missing run time dependencies there. It will not get into testing until I can fix the current FTBFS thought :-/ Kinds regards, Lisandro. -- Moore's Law: The speed of processors will double every 18 months.
