Yes, yes. Please rename your directories.
This problem is a limitation in qmake *and* in QProcess. Do not use
spaces or other things that require quotes in your path. It can result
in bad results.
For example,
:/tmp/foo \(foo\)$ ls
test.cpp
:/tmp/foo \(foo\)$ qmake -project
:/tmp/foo \(foo\)$ ls -l
total 4
-rw-r--r-- 1 adamm adamm 292 Mar 3 11:03 foo \(foo\).pro
-rw-r--r-- 1 adamm adamm 0 Mar 3 11:01 test.cpp
:/tmp/foo \(foo\)$ qmake
Cannot find file: /tmp/foo /(foo/)/foo /(foo/).pro.
This is using Qt from Git, as of last week.
