Bug#731562: [kleopatra] kwatchgnupg messes up gpg.conf
Package: kleopatra
Version: 4:4.11.3-1
Severity: normal
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
On startup, kwatchgnupg adds the following lines to ~/.gnupg/gpg.conf:
###+++--- GPGConf ---+++###
utf8-strings
debug-level basic
log-file socket:///home/zing/.gnupg/log-socket
###+++--- GPGConf ---+++### Fri 06 Dec 2013 07:17:02 PM CET
# GPGConf edited this configuration file.
# It will disable options before this marked block, but it will
# never change anything below these lines.
Since these entries are not valid for gpg.conf, gpg stops working after
kwatchgnupg is started. Removing the erraneous text (obviously) fixes gpg.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Verify that gpg can start up:
gpg -k
[normal program output]
2) Run kwatchgnupg
3) Run gpg again:
gpg -k
gpg: /home/user/.gnupg/gpg.conf:137: argument not expected
gpg: /home/user/.gnupg/gpg.conf:138: invalid option
This happens everytime kwatchgnupg starts up (The lines are added only once,
though).
I guess kwatchgnupg calls gpgconf with incorrect parameters?
Thanks,
Johannes
