Apologies, in testing it seems that libmyodbc should have fixed the problem. I think.

Any chance of getting these backported?

I cannot install both libmyodbc and okular/k3b/katepart in the same debian system.

How do I connect to a MySQL database via odbc, AND have (eg) k3b installed at the same time? Is it current impossible in Debian?
