It would be great if KDE provided personalized menus just like in
Windows 2000 (http://www.activewin.com/tips/win2000/1/2000_tips_9.shtml).
In short, this means that after you've used the Start menu enough, the
menu collapses to only show the items you use. The items you never use
are hidden. When you click the little arrow at the bottom of the menu,
or when you wait 5 seconds, the hidden items are shown.

Do you also think this would be a nice option to have?

Good question.  You're right:  the feature I am requesting is no
longer necessary. The combination of KDE's start menu's "Recently
Used" feature, plus its start menu's search feature, is enough I
think.
