Hi dE,

thanks for the hint. The deamon was enabled but apparently you have to 
check another checkbox on the left to enable shorcuts, configured via 
the menu dialog. See the screenshot.

I did not disable this checkbox and don't know why someone would want that.

Maybe someone can confirm this default setting and it could be discussed 
for change.

But for me the issue is solved now.
