Package: kwalletmanager

Severity: normal

I recently installed wheezy KDE on my laptop. I am used to manage my passwords with kwalletmanager. However, if I select the kwallet manager in the K-menu, start it via ALT-F2 or start if from command line, I don't see any GUI.

It seems to be running:
paul@wollumbin ~ $ ps aux | grep wallet
paul      3324  0.0  0.5 283440 16108 ?        S    18:54   0:00 /usr/bin/kwalletd
paul      4002  0.4  0.6 287636 17384 pts/0    S    18:56   0:00 /usr/bin/kwalletmanager

Also, when I start it from command line I get a warning, but the exit status is ok:
paul@wollumbin ~ $ kwalletmanager && echo ok
QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave.
QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave.
ok

If I stop kwallet and start it again I get an additional warning:
paul@wollumbin ~ $ kwalletmanager && echo ok
QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave.
QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave.
Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString)
ok

Please let me know if I can help more to get this issue fixed.

I'm so closing this bug. As a tip, you can configure the dock area to
always show kwalletmanager if active.

Kinds regards, Lisandro.
