Bug#687295: Yup, that's the bug!

I'm already running KDE 4.8.4 with Wheezy.  Maybe that's why it really hasn't bothered me. :)
It seems reasonably fixed. It's not "perfect" in that it still doesn't automatically update when coming back from suspend, but I think it's good enough because it eventually does update.
