According to the upstream bug report his bug can't be reproduced with the current gwenview from KDE 4[1] therefore if the problem was in gwenview from KDE 3 there is no point in keeping this bug report open, if the problem was in kdelibs and you can reproduce it doing something different, feel free to reopen.
