Hello, maybe this problem is related to PulseAudio. I was able to solve the problem for me by setting flat-volumes = no in the file /etc/pulse/daemon.conf as described at http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/User:Feystorm#PulseAudio_per- application_volume_control Kind regards, André
