Agreeing with closing, on the premise that nothing can be reasonably
done on it on the Debian side.  In fact I was not presuming it to be
some deliberate design option or a simple issue of unfinished work -- in
which case I'd only have contacted the developers -- but you may of
course be right on it, so I'll contact them now.

On the other hand, even if deliberate this could be considered an issue
of interface inconsistency within the Calligra suite, of interest to
potential users --- but I'm not acquainted with Debian policies enough
to know if it could be deemed worthy of staying open.
