Package: krita
Version: 1:2.2.1-2
Severity: minor

When opening an image such as a jpg or a ppm with Krita from Dolphin or Konqueror, Krita launches fine, but the file manager doesn't get that and reports an error. I had 2 different error messages, one referring to KLauncher. The one I'm currently getting is "Impossible pour KDEInit de lancer « /usr/bin/krita ».", that is in English "KDEInit could not launch '/usr/bin/krita'."

The error dialog appears after some time, probably 30 seconds. It seems KDE doesn't get any launch confirmation and assumes the application failed to start after that time. This happens on KDE 4.4.4. KWord doesn't have this problem.

Hi,

The bug has been fixed upstream in 2010.

Can you confirm that it is fixed for you too, so I can close the bug ?

Yes, it is, thank you.
