Package: kdebase-runtime-bin-kde4
Version: 4:4.1.0-2
Severity: normal

As far as I understand, lenny kdebase-runtime-bin-kde4 package is supposed to
be compatible with lenny's KDE3 desktop.

However, /usr/bin/kstart from kdebase-runtime-bin-kde4 misbehaves.

I like to run 'xload' embedded into KDE's panel.
To start it, I use the follwoing command:

kstart --windowclass XLoad --tosystray /usr/X11R6/bin/xload -bg black -fg green -hl red -update 1 -nolabel

This used to work until I installed okular package (from lenny), which pulled
kdebase-runtime-bin-kde4 by dependences.

Now the above does not work as expected.
Instead, it causes bad misconfiguration of running session - all windows are
moved to the current virtual desktop, panel no longer exists on desktop other
than current. Also kstart process does not terminate, and xload
is started as a normal window.

Restoring kdebase-bin-kde3 makes start working again. But removes okular...

KDE 3 and KDE SC 4 are no longer interchangeable since 4.2.2. This is no
longer an issue.
