Could you please try again with korganizer/kontact 4.4.3 which is in unstable?
It seems we cannot reproduce the problem you're describing. Given that it
doesn't seem to hit everyone I casted the severity down to important. There is
no sense in preventing migration expecially given that the buggy version is in
squeeze anyway.
