After using konqueror a few minutes, web pages start to be displayed
as source code. That makes it a bit difficult to report bugs on the
KDE bug tracking system :-)

In addition, at the moment even the "about:blank" page that I use as
home page is displayed as:

<html><head><title>about:blank</title></head><body></body></html>

The bug originally reported has been fixed in KDE SC 4.1.
As for the "bug" described in the comment, this was probably due to an error 
in the content type served by the website (and has apparently been fixed). If 
you still have that problem, please open a new bug report at bugs.kde.org
