Package: kdebase
Version: 3.5.4-2
Severity: normal

I configured few shortcuts, global-shortcuts in Amarok and KMixer like
win+M is stop playing etc.

After I upgraded KDE some time ago - they stoped working.

I re-configured them and most of them started working again (all the
applications shortucts like Win+T == konsole work now after setting them
again). But other keys do not work.

While setting them again, the old setting was displayed but didnt worked
util set again to identical value in configuration and Saved (ok/apply).

+ global shortcut in amarok: next song (win+n) work
- global shortcut in amarok: pause (win+m) fail
+ global shortcut in kmix: volume up (win+shift+up) fail
+ global shortcut in kmix: volume up (win+shift+down) fail
+ appl shortcut: win+T Konsole work

any clue?

It would be nice to have utility to debug processing of recived key event.

And it would be very good(!) to have utility to search the shortcut by a
key.

Like - I enter a key "win+t" and KDE informs me what is assigned overall
to that key and why / where can I edit that - i would include all KDE
hotkeys (and possibly gestures) as well as (currently running
applications) global hot keys.
