Now it works - there is no fun without compositing ...

Here are the packages that would be updated:
Regardless if it is fun or not, compositing is NOT essential for KDE to work.
Please report bugs with proper severity next time.

Hmm - i reported for the package compositing.
So when compositing does not work i see it as a grave problem for this package.

I agree that this is not essential for KDE of course.

Well, depending on the versions you upgraded from you will probably need to
install firmware-linux-free and/or firmware-linux-nonfree. Or you proprietary
drivers broke, or whatever ... I don't think this might have anything to do
with KDE.

But it is definitely dependent on the upgrade of one or more packages.
It works before without problems and also i spooled back my backup.

So what has deactivated the compositing?

Is the solution that i can't upgrade again forever?

Regards
Karsten
