Bug#532641: Qt4 is unable to print in grayscale

I have a similar problem and I can confirm that this is a bug in Qt,
as this doesn't happen in Gtk-based applications.

In Qt's printing dialog there is only a possibility to select color
printout mode or grayscaele printout mode (which should make the
printer use only the black cardridge), and whichever of those two
I choose, the printer prints always in color mode.
In Gtk-based applications, the print dialog has a combo box for
choosing printout color modes and the combo box displays all modes
available in the printer (in my case, HP DeskJet D1560, besides the
color and grayscale there are also several draft and high quality,
for both color and grayscale printing modes). In case of Gtk, when
I choose to print in grayscale, I get a grayscale printout.

So I assume the problem is that Qt doesn't check the printer's
capabilities with regard to color modes and just says to it
"print in color" or "print in grayscale", which is meanless for some
printers, as they don't have just a 'color mode' and a
'grayscale mode', but 'normal color', 'normal grayscale',
'draft color', 'draft grayscale', etc.
