I have a hackish patch ready on VM (iirc it is usable). Just I don't have time to do more testing and proper upload right now. But I will get to it eventually, don't worry. Unfortunately, kdm state on kfsbd is not that good overall. Restart/shutdown does not work from KDE sessions, kdm restarts whether it's not supposed to. I planned to look into this as well but I got distracted by kfbsd keyboard layout issues and eventually got overloaded with work.
