Bug#593600: Dolphin "expandable folders" feature of "details" view has a visualization bug

Package: dolphin
Version: 4:4.4.5-1

I use Dolphin with the "expandable folders" (tree view) feature enabled on "details" view. That is, I have enabled the "Expandable folders" checkbox on menu "Settings" > "Configure Dolphin..." > "View Mode" > "Details". I also have configured double-click on KDE to open files.

If I first open a folder on the tree view by single-clicking on the precceding "+", and then single-click different objects in there, the left part of the selection highlight (that is, the segment between the file list leftmost border and the first character of the file name) persists, even though it is supposed to be gone when I click on different objects.

I attach the file dolphin_4__4_4_5-"1__expandable_folders_visualization_bug.jpg" to illustrate this.

If I switch to another Desktop or another application, and then go back to Dolphin, the view is restored correctly, whitout the erroneous highlighted segment.

This has been happening to me since KDE 4 was released on Debian testing distribution, both on 32 and 64 bit versions.

I am using Debian GNU/Linux testing (squeeze) release, kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64.

Thanks in advance.
Mecha.
