For funnily formatted From: headers the filter "is in address book" does not
match, therefore rendering filters that use that filter a little less useful
than possible. In my case, the From: is like follows:
From: Euro Prime Casino" <diathesis@moose-mail.com>
(note the single double quote). If I remove the quotes then the filter
works as expected.
I'm quite sure, this is a upstream bug, but I have no kde bug db account, sorry
for using you as messengers ;-)
Might also be a kabc bug, course from a quick glance to the kmail sources I'd
assume they use kabc functionality in the check
