Package: konqueror
Version: 4:3.5.9.dfsg.1-2+b1

When a folder is accessed through the "system:/media" directory hierarchy in Konqueror, the contents of the folder are not automatically updated by Konqueror. So, if the user adds or removes files with from a x-terminal, konsole, etc., the new contents in the folder will not be automatically shown by Konqueror. The user must MANUALLY reload the Konqueror tab (pressing the key F5) in order for the new contents to be shown by Konqueror.

This behavior DOES NOT HAPPEN when the folder is accessed in Konqueror through the usual UNIX directory hierarchy path that begins by the root "/" folder. That is, if the user does not use the "system:/media" protocol, Konqueror will AUTOMATICALLY update the folder contents.

I am using Linux kernel 2.6.23, Debian unstable.

The same behavior does also happen with Debian testing.
