Package: konsole

Severity: minor

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
Hi,

konsole package currently ships a nice bitmap VGA-ish font with lots
of glyphs (cursory look reveals a good bit of latin, cyrillic, greek,
hebrew at least), in

/usr/share/apps/konsole/fonts/console8x16.pcf.gz

I found it on the internet while looking for VGA-style bitmap fonts
for X and have been using it for a while as my default terminal font
with UTF-8 locales. Recently I figured out it's already in Debian,
however, the directory above is not in default FontPath, so the font
can't be used with other apps without manual intervention.

Please split it into a separate package. CC pkg-fonts people, maybe
someone there can offer suggestions on how to approach the issue.

BTW, I hope the above-wishlist severity is sufficiently justified
with having to do manual fixes to use the font that's already
packaged. <g>

Regards,
Zoran
