Steps to reproduce:
1. $ kate
2. edit->vi mode
3. Type 'test'
4. Press 'V', the entire line is selected
5. Press 'y'.
6. Press 'p'

Expected results:
entire line is pasted

Actual results:
only one character is pasted, as in vi and Vim

If I press 'End' before 'y', or otherwise move the cursor to end-of-line and
then 'y'ank, the entire line is yanked/pasted.

In vi/Vim pressing 'V' selects the entire line *and* yanking copies the entire
line too.
It is counterintuitive to see the entire line selected as in kate, and then only
one character pasted.
