Hi everyone,

I'm having some problems with desktop effects.

Whenever I activate desktop effects with compositing type = xrender, everything works fine (slow...but fine).

When I activate desktop effects with compositing type = opengl, the system gets unstable. 
It can work for some time, but crashes when I open new apps like konqueror or k3b.
I always get back to login screen.

I have an Asus F3JP with an ATI X1700. I am attaching xorg.conf, xorg.log and kdm.log.

Please tell me how I can help more.
