Bug#544212: konqueror: kio_media_mounthelper problem

Konqueror fails to mount a usb stick on media:/sdx (it chooses c as x). 
I get the error message "mount: wrong fs type ...". The usb stick mount 
without a problem in a terminal window. After unmounting, and trying 
konqueror again, the tail of dmesg looks like this:

Once mounted via mount (looking up the entry in fstab), konqueror shows 
the content of the usb stick correctly.

I have no explanation why it reports a FAT media value - the drive is 
partitioned and ext3 formatted.
