Dear maintainers,
In May 2009, bugs were filed against packages that still Build-Depends
or Depends upon the old CUPSYS packages, such as:
cupsys - Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)
cupsys-bsd - Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)
cupsys-client - Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)
cupsys-common - Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)
cupsys-dbg - Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)
libcupsys2 - Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)
libcupsys2-dev - Common UNIX Printing System (transitional package)
It appears that your package depends upon one of these.
A grace period had been given to maintainers to update their packages
and this grace period is now over and we will shortly be removing the
transitional CUPS packages. As such, we urge you to upgrade your
packages and perform an upload ASAP.
However, if you currently lack the time to upgrade your packages,
please indicate in reply to this message whether you would allow a NMU
to be performed by the CUPS team.
