Bug#515013: kooka crashes on scanning after scan preview

After previewing the scan and selecting the area to the final scan, the final scanning causes kooka to crash with the backtrace bellow.
Doing the final scan without preview or doig the final scan after the preview but without selecting the area to scan just works ok.
