Hi Ana and Sven 

here is my /etc/network/interfaces

the file was generated during the installation process.
I don't remember I changed the file after the initial
installation, but I'm certain I haven't changed it recently.

the interfaces displayed by knetworkconf are only those
in the 'interfaces' conf file.
