Package: umbrello
Version: 4:3.3.2-3
Severity: normal

Hello,

modifying the sequence diagram has gone nearly impossible for me. Umbrello
crashes constantly (e.g. nearly always if I choose an operation to call).

I've been unable to reproduce this error in some simple testcases, so it
might be specific to my file. This file is already quite old - and may has
suffered from ill-formated output in previous version. Additionally the
project is quite complex which might also cause trouble.
You can download the file in question from:
	http://www.mesing.de/benjamin/searchplugin.xmi
open it, choose the "plugin initialization" diagram and play around a little
( move methods, create new messages and name them,...)
You will notice all kinds of strange things happening including crashes
from umbrello and the method items jumping to the leftmost position
possible.

Also note that on startup umbrello complains alot like this:
umbrello: ERROR: LoadFromXMI: can't load classfield parent_id:1419 do you have a corrupt savefile?
umbrello: ERROR: Failed to find codeclassfield for parent uml id:1420 (role id:0) Do you have a corrupt classifier code

Best regards
Ben (Mesing - to avoid confusion ;-)

When starting out with the file you provided where the generalisation
are removed, everything works fine now.
The only issue that remains is, that the stale bad generalisations in
the old file lead to a crash, but that can't be helped.

Thanks for your support.

Ben
