Upon attempting to play a midi file in kmid, the following is displayed
in an error dialog:

	Error - KMid

	Could not open /dev/sequencer.
	Probably there is another program using it.

When running kmid from Konsole, the following messages are displayed in
Konsole:

ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No
such file or directory handle==0
ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No

Thanks to Ana Guerrero, the author of kmid said that that error is because 
your soundcard does not have a midi synthetiser. That's why I suggested using 
timidity. The setup that I suggested you should work (check if you have 
freepats installed too). 

As for know this bug is not related to Debian's software, I'm closing it.
