Package: kicker-applets
Version: 4:3.5.8-3
Severity: wishlist

Gnome Desktop has a panel applet to umount devices (CDs/DVDs, Pendrives and
diskets). KWikDisk it's very confuse and have a lot of bugs of user
permissions and problems with HAL.

The suggestion it's to have a kicker application to do this.
All the time I edit files with kwrite and save into my pendrive, I need open
Konqueror or Dolphin to umount it?

I'm happy to tell you that already exists! Go go kicker and click over add
applet, and select the "Storage Media" applet. It will be invisible until you
plug something, then you will have the icon from where you can open the
device, unplug it, etc.
