Hello:
Does the system totally locks? or you can restore it somehow? Does the
ctrl-alt-del work in that situation or the alt-sysrq-{k,e,y,s,u,b} reboots
properly the system?
What xorg video driver are you using? Is it the same if you set button
action on klaptopdaemon configuration to Off (no action)?
In my case, my card is an intel 855GM using the new intel 2.0 xorg driver ,
but what I discovered is that it seems to be this driver problem, becuase
even if I disable klaptopdaemon the system totally hangs once I press the lid
button.
