Bug#407574: kdvi should *recommend* texlive-fonts-recommended, not *depend* on it!

well.. I consider it a bug in the old versions that it was only recommends. 
kdvi fails to do almost anything - especially viewing plain documents - 
without having the fonts and the kpsewitch binary installed.

If you try using kdvi on a document without those things installed, you will 
gets lots and lots of error messages.
So kdvi needs it to work. The way to declare that in debian is by using a 
Depends: line.

well.. when you install stuff from source without telling the package managre 
that you do it, you will run into all sorts of things like this.
Generally it is not supported - but you might be able to look into the equivs 
program to help you hack around it.
