Package: gdm
Version: 2.20.0-2
Severity: normal

I usually use KDE, but stuck with GDM because I liked it
better than KDM at some point. However, since the last
upgrade (I think), my KDE sessions under GDM no longer
include the "switch user" submenu in the K menu, and
kscreensaver fails to offer the Switch User button.
Switching to KDM fixed the problem, but I only consider
this a workaround.

I'm not sure if the problem is in GDM or KDE, but as
I said, I think it showed up after the last update to
many GNOME packages.

In an attempt to help debug the problem, I opened
a GNOME session, and tried to switch user from there.
To my surprise, I received a message telling me that
switching users (from GNOME) only works under GDM.

So -- has someone broken the display-manager/desktop
interoperability between GNOME and KDE on purpose?

Thanks,
	Shai.
