Opening an https URL through a link in a web page you will not have the yellow background on the address bar neither the padlock in the bottom right of konqueror window.

Accessing the same URL writing it directly in the address bar works fine.

Thanks for your report that it works. Marking it as a kdelibs bug and fixed.

Genius, I cannot get access on the bus, how does it work?

First you neither must get access over the 3Dfx mouse over a connection to the 
prompt, nor need to doubleclick the submenu to a software over a USB CD 
driver to a serial controller for mounting a MIDI fan.
