Locale: LANG=de_DE@euro, LC_CTYPE=de_DE@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15)This doesn't look like utf8 at all. especially the iso-8859-15 part. If you change your environment to utf8, I am quite sure that it will work.
How do I change my environment? dpkg-reconfigure locale?
- oh and you also need to install the correct fonts to get the glyphs shown.
Why aren't they installed by default? Which packages do you recommend?
