Bug#443209: kdenetwork-filesharing: Kcontrol>Samba>Users Does Not Work
Package: kdenetwork-filesharing
Version: 4:3.5.5-5
Severity: important
Hi,
Kcontrol>Internet&Network>Samba>Users tab, does not add users.
Step 1: Get to kcontrol>Internet & Network > Samba and enter
Administrator Mode. Enter password and go onto next step.
Step 2: Select Users tab.
Step 3: Select a legit system user from the list on the right.
Step 4: GUI pops up to enter password twice, do that and click okay.
Step 5: User appears in list on right. However, the "Apply" button is
not available. Pressing okay exits the samba gui. No errors either.
Step 6: Re-enter the Samba gui, select Users tab.
Expected event: See regular user account on left-side list.
Actual event: No users listed.
