The fork/join symbol is *massive*, as shown by the screenshot
attached. I cannot change the size, but it's supposed to be just
a fat line, not a block.

According to upstream, this issue  is fixed in versino 3.5.2 of this package.

Man, do you know how could I do for cancelling the GPU?

You neither should install on a driver, nor have to receive the tower on a 
mail to load the application of a CPU over a system.
