Package: kdesktop
Version: 4:3.5.5a-2
Severity: normal
The kdesktop application crashs only for video icons.
Crashs only on my AMD64 maschine.
The yellow info box that pops up on other icons (like pdfs) comes not up.
Testet with the debconf6 video ogg files.
Changing the standard videoplayer for KDE has no effect.

No, I have installed a new debian etch (and not the AMD64 version).

I don't belive that it is fixed. But for now the bug should be closed.

Maybe it was not Debians fault. The player came from debian-multimedia.org.
But kdesktop or konqueror should not crash when the "player-plugin" crashes.
